"Thank you for providing a wonderful and peaceful retreat in these tricky times. It was a wonderful oasis, we loved the chickens and animals and had some great walks in glorious countryside. Thank you." M & N - Early March 2020
Updated 4 August 2020
We are ready to welcome you to our patch of glorious Sussex! If you would like to come and stay our next available slot is a sneaky six day break 2 - 7 October.
The Tack Barn is self-contained and rural, which makes it perfect for much-needed time away for our guests. For the time being we are honoring existing bookings, but are usually only taking new bookings of seven nights or more so that we can allow a 72+ hour layover between guests in July and August and then cautiously reducing it to 48+ hours between guests into the autumn. This might make the calendar a little more complicated than we would like, so please be prepared to be flexible with your dates. We can recommend lots of stunning walks if you want to get out and about, and can give pointers about where to eat out or pick up some amazing local produce and groceries.
We want it to be a memorable experience for our guests, but also a safe one for both you and our team. The Barn will of course be spotless for your arrival, soap dispensers and additional cleaning materials will be supplied, but we are taking every precaution at this time. We have also signed up to the Sawday's Clean and Safe Charter to provide further peace of mind. We ask that guests to follow the government guidelines for social distancing and hygiene practices while staying at the Tack Barn and there will be a few practical measures that we will ask you to do in order to help us with staying safe. We will definitely pop over to say hello and we know that your stay will be very special, but sadly without a handshake this time.
