How we are keeping safe
"Thank you for providing a wonderful and peaceful retreat in these tricky times. It was a wonderful oasis, we loved the chickens and animals and had some great walks in glorious countryside. Thank you." M & N - 2020

If you are planning an escape to our patch of Sussex for some rest and relaxation we would love to see you. We know your stay will be as memorable as always - snuggle up in front of the wood burner, set off on stunning walks across the South Downs and the chalk cliffs, or pop into lovely Lewes. The Tack Barn is self-contained and rural, which makes it perfect for a much-deserved change of scene, we can also give you pointers about where to eat out or pick up some amazing local produce to cook in the well equipped kitchen. Some have opted to mix business with pleasure and work remotely while staying here, so you can be reassured there is super-fast broadband both inside and out (although we can always switch it off if you would prefer?!). The Barn will spotless on your arrival, full soap dispensers and additional cleaning materials will be supplied, but we are taking every precaution. We have also signed up to the Clean and Safe Charter to provide reassurance and ask that guests to follow the government guidelines for social distancing and hygiene practices while staying at the Tack Barn. There will be a few practical measures that we will ask you to do in order to help us with staying safe and we will definitely pop over to say hello (from a safe distance) - we know that your stay will be very special indeed.
