As the Tack Barn is self-contained and rural we are hoping to provide some much-needed time away for guests once the lockdown on inessential travel is lifted, hopefully as early as July. Even though we have been advised that people should not be making firm plans about booking new holidays until the current distancing rules are relaxed we all need something to look forward to right now!
However we will consider bookings for travelers arriving in the UK after the 8 June who need to quarantine within government guidelines and there is new information about these here. Please email us for more information or to discuss.
For the time being we are honoring existing bookings, but are only taking new bookings of 7 nights or more so that we can allow a 72 hour minimum layover between guests - at least until the end of the summer. This might make the calendar a little more complicated than we would like, so please be prepared to be flexible with your dates. The Barn will of course be spotless for your arrival, soap dispensers and cleaning materials are always supplied anyway, but we are taking every precaution at this time. We can recommend lots of remote walks in the fresh air if you want to get out and about safely and can give pointers about food providers and groceries.
We want it to be a memorable experience for our guests, but also a safe one for both you and our team, so we are planning on signing up to the Sawday's Clean and Safe Charter. Although we would love to say hello we will also ask guests to follow the government guidelines for social distancing and hygiene practices while staying at the Tack Barn and there will be a few practical measures that we will ask you to do in order to help us with staying safe.
